The Ethical Journalist
Making Responsible Decisions in the Pursuit of News

Former Philadelphia Inquirer executive editor Gene Foreman will give a Clinton School lecture about ethics in journalism. Foreman worked in newspapers for 41 years, including serving as managing editor for the Pine Bluff Commercial and The Arkansas Democrat. A professor of journalism at Penn State University, Foreman is the author of a new textbook titled, "The Ethical Journalist: Making Responsible Decisions in the Pursuit of News" (2009). Foreman joined the PSU faculty in 1998 after retiring from the Inquirer, where he managed newsroom operations for more than 25 years.
