Kevin and Hannah Salwen, authors of "The Power of Half"

The Power of Half
One Family’s Decision to Stop Taking and Start Giving Back

Kevin Salwen and his teenage daughter Hannah will discuss their book, "The Power of Half," about their family’s decision to sell their house, buy a house half the size and donate the proceeds to charity.

Prodded by Hannah, the Salwens sold their 6,500 square-foot Atlanta home and donated more than $800,000 to aid two dozen impoverished villages in Ghana. At the Clinton School, the Salwens will discuss their decision and how it changed their lives.
