The Alliance for Excellent Education The former governor of West Virginia, Bob Wise leads the Alliance for Excellent Education, which advocates for at-risk middle and high school students by promoting increased education funding and high school reform. He is author of the book, "Raising the Grade: How High School Reform Can Save Our Youth and Our Nation" and chair of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. At the Clinton School, Wise will discuss education reform in America. The Beginning of the Bill Clark Wetlands Project Monday, May 3, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. (West side of Rock Island Railroad Bridge) - Little Rock officials including City Director Dean Kumpuris, Little Rock Public Works operating manager Eric Petty, Little Rock Parks deputy director Mark Webre and landscape architect Martin Smith will announce the construction timetable and design plans for the wetlands project on the grounds of the Clinton Center.
